Small Businesses Advised To Use Mobile Broadband Service
Mobile broadband services are a far cheaper option for small businesses in comparison to Wi-Fi, according to a recent report that has suggested that a company can save up to two thousand pounds every year by choosing mobile broadband.
There are many companies which use Wi-Fi to get connected but the savings per employee per year can be as much as £580 if they make a switchover to mobile broadband. The cost per employee per month for mobile net connectivity is £10.
Although it seems that the technological costs of a company are not a major a part of the total expense, these expenses add up to a significant amount and with mobile broadband services there are many added advantages as well. Many service providers offer special packages for businesses, such as greater download limits along with fast and reliable customer support. BT also has a special deal where it offers free mobile connectivity for customers using its sub-£30 monthly package.
The report, which suggested such cost cutting measures for small businesses was prepared by a telecom and media research company, Analysys Mason. The report was authored by Steve Hilton who works with Analysys Mason as Principal analyst. Hilton strongly suggests the use of mobile broadband rather than Wi-Fi hotspots. Talking about the benefits, he says that compared to Wi-Fi, mobile broadband services are far more reliable while giving better coverage too.
